kittabot docs
kittabot applies for NEPSE IPOs through MeroShare for every member of your family. You use it by talking to Claude; kittabot shows forms inside the chat when it needs details from you.
Getting started
- Create a kittabot account with your email and a password of 12 characters or more.
- Add the connector to Claude (below).
- Start a new chat and paste the setup prompt.
Connector URL
Setup prompt
claude.ai
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it kittabot and paste the connector URL. Leave the OAuth client fields empty.
- Choose Connect. A kittabot sign-in page opens; sign in and allow access.
On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector for the organization first.
Claude Desktop
Connectors added on claude.ai appear in Claude Desktop automatically when you're signed in with the same account. Forms show up inline in the chat just like on the web.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http kittabot https://kittabot.23motion.com/mcp
Run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in. The terminal can't show forms, so Claude can list issues, preview and apply, but adding accounts needs claude.ai or Claude Desktop.
Using kittabot
Talk to Claude normally. A few things you can ask:
- "Add my mother's MeroShare account." Claude shows the account form; you type the details.
- "What IPOs are open?"
- "Apply for the open IPO for everyone." You get a preview first, then a confirm button.
- "Did anyone get shares in the last IPO?"
When you submit a form, it posts a short note into the chat (for example "I added the MeroShare account mom"), so Claude knows what happened and carries on.
Apply rules
- Only ordinary shares open to the general public, unless you explicitly ask otherwise.
- Kitta defaults to the issue's minimum and can't go above the server's limit (10 by default).
- Every application starts as a preview. Nothing is submitted until you confirm.
- People who already applied, in kittabot or directly in MeroShare, are skipped.
- If MeroShare doesn't answer while applying, kittabot marks it uncertain and checks before trying again.
Tools Claude can use
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
open_form | Shows a kittabot form in the chat: add or edit an account, apply, accounts, issues, results. |
list_accounts | Your family members' aliases and names. No secrets or account numbers. |
list_open_issues | Open IPOs, who has applied and who hasn't. |
apply_ipo | Previews by default. Submits only when called with the preview turned off. |
application_status | What kittabot has recorded for each application. |
allotment_results | Checks MeroShare for allotment results. |
Privacy & security
- Secrets never reach Claude. MeroShare passwords, PINs and CRNs are typed into kittabot's form and sent through a channel Claude can't read.
- Encrypted at rest. Secrets are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and decrypted only at the moment kittabot talks to MeroShare.
- Private accounts. Each kittabot account sees only its own family members, applications and results.
- Sign-in. Claude connects with OAuth 2.1 and PKCE. Passwords are hashed with argon2id. Sign-in attempts are rate limited and logged.
- Revoke any time. Your account page lists connected apps; disconnect one or delete your account and everything in it.
Troubleshooting
Claude says it can't show forms
You're probably in Claude Code or another client without inline forms. Use claude.ai or Claude Desktop.
Login to MeroShare fails for a family member
Check the password in MeroShare itself, then ask Claude to edit that account. If the password is right, the DP's client ID may be out of date; enter it in the edit form.
The connector stopped working
If you changed your kittabot password, connected apps are signed out. Reconnect from Claude's connector settings.
